Project overview

This multi-site project focused on the remediation of 27 existing civic and educational buildings in disrepair across Ireland. I worked in close collaboration with the Project Architect and structural engineering consultants. The scope primarily involved the development of construction and tender documentation, informed by detailed review of existing drawings and on-site investigations to establish a clear understanding of existing conditions.

Key components included steel connection upgrades, alongside architectural remediation detailing such as finishes repairs, flooring and ceiling upgrades, new openings and window replacements, and the integration of new work within existing cladding systems — ensuring sensitive and effective interventions within the existing building fabric.

I worked closely with the Project Architect and engineers to assess existing buildings and develop clear construction and tender documentation for remediation works. My role supported both structural upgrades and architectural improvements, carefully integrating new elements within the existing fabric.
